tidiCART
The tidiCART project (from titiness propreté and cart chariot, charrette, voiturette) is part of UVHC's 2016 SIFRE calls for projects
The ultimate aim of this request is to acquire and develop an educational and research platform that will achieve several objectives:
.- To provide ISTV - and more generally UVHC - with a pedagogical development platform in line with the establishment's major strategic orientations, modernity and the necessary development of innovative solutions in terms of sustainable development and respect for our working environments. This platform will enhance the visibility and appeal of our training courses, both nationally and internationally.
- Develop innovative teaching methods throughout the Transport & Mobility CMI and its support courses (SPI bachelor's degree and TMR master's degree), enabling the acquisition of skills linked to the Land Transport professions, and ensuring the transition from "classic" modules to modules taught using inverted teaching, blended-learning, APP, etc. The major challenge is to transform students into experts in the field by developing collaborative work on project-oriented modules, both on a horizontal axis by promoting multidisciplinarity between automatic control, mechanics, electronics/telecommunication and IT, and on a vertical axis by promoting mentoring of younger students by older ones.
- Strengthen the training/research synergy necessary for the training of our students by setting up an innovative, state-of-the-art object on which teacher-researchers can develop their work and mentor learners.
The Concept aims to develop and gradually evolve a small electric vehicle, into an innovative platform with a vocation to participate in campus cleanliness through the automated, intelligent and detailed collection of outdoor waste.
The vehicle will be an integrator of innovative technologies that are nonetheless mature or close to maturity. It will actually be a complex system combining, as a minimum, a motorized and autonomous ground chassis, an on-board drone for waste location and mapping, one or more on-board collection modes. The vehicle will:
- Be clean (electric motorization, management and optimization of energy resources).
- Offer several driving modes (manual, autonomous, semi-autonomous).
- Offer the possibility of implementing several waste collection modes simultaneously or not (suction, grabbing, blowing).
- Allow sorting of collected waste in on-board or other modes.
- Be communicative (with its drone, with its base, with any other ad hoc device).
- Ensure the safety of any passengers as well as campus users.
