The LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 (Laboratoire d'Automatique, de Mécanique et d'Informatique Industrielles et Humaines) is a joint research unit between the Université Polytechnique Hauts de France (UPHF) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), specializing in transport and human mobility.

The LAMIH is a multidisciplinary laboratory and recognized research player in the fields of transport and mobility: non-polluting vehicles, intelligent transport, driving assistance, eco-driving, lighter structures, transport logistics, mobility for all and intelligent mobility.
It has a strong expertise in all aspects of human interaction with technical systems.
The laboratory is organized into 4 departments:
The LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 is a member of the Fédération de Recherche du CNRS Transports Terrestres & Mobilité (FR 3733) which it co-directs.
A laboratory under joint contract
The LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 is a joint research unit between the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and the CNRS (Centre National de Recherche Scientifique).
It is attached to the CNRS Sciences informatiques.
Through UPHF, LAMIH is also a privileged partner in the development of the IRT Railenium.
Member of Institut Carnot ARTS
The LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 through its partnership research of excellence has the Carnot label and is a member of the Carnot Institute ARTS.
