Interactions between Hybrid Vehicle Energy Management and Driving Pleasure
Hybrid vehicles feature dual powertrains, usually thermal-electric. Most studies focus on energy optimization. The interactions between energy control law and driving pleasure are generally not considered for this type of vehicle.
The energy control laws are then degraded so as to achieve acceptable vehicle driveability. The aim of this project is to determine control laws that manage driving pleasure with the least possible impact on energy performance. The work will be carried out by pooling the experimental platforms of the project's two regional partner laboratories. This new line of research will enable the Carnots ARTS institute to win new research contracts, in both a regional and national context.
