[RETURN ON] The Master 2 HVCI in Amsterdam

On March 2 and 3, students in the Master 2 International History and Cultural Valuation program traveled to Amsterdam.

As part of their "International Fieldwork" course, they organized the trip themselves: choosing the destination, scheduling the visits, booking the accommodation and the various museums, and making contact with cultural professionals. The students also organized mediation activities in small groups, which they then presented in situ.

The program was very rich:

  • Tour of the Rijksmuseum
  • Visit to the Anne Frank House
  • Visit the Van Gogh Museum
  • Meeting with two librarians from the Central Library of Amsterdam

This trip was an opportunity to meet as a group in a studious yet friendly atmosphere. It allowed us to practice essential skills in the culture and heritage sector: project management (programming, logistics, organization), cultural mediation, transmission of knowledge, practice of English, etc. Where will we go next year? The future students of the M2 HVCI will decide!
