IAE Valenciennes

The IAE Valenciennes is a University Management School that belongs to the IAE France network (35 schools, 50,000 students). Since 2020, IAE Valenciennes is an academic unit of the Institute of Societies and Humanities (ISH), a component of the Polytechnic University Hauts-de-France (UPHF). The school has nearly 900 students from Bachelor to Master and offers a continuation of studies through the doctorate. The school offers a professionalizing university education in initial training, continuing education or apprenticeship. The alternation is offered from the third year of license and it is generalized in Masters.

The two characteristics, hallmark of the IAE, are the individualized support and the pedagogy of the alternation which combines theoretical teachings and professional periods and the very strong professionalization of our training, the networks of companies and professional organizations. These two elements are the real assets for the success of our students, as several of our school's programs have been ranked among the best masters and bachelor programs for several years. Students follow the work-study program and are quickly confronted with the life of a company. It is also an opportunity to learn in a different way and to earn a salary that allows some students to finance their studies. Work-study programs also meet the needs of local companies (in the industrial, service or distribution sectors). All these elements combined allow our young graduates to benefit from an excellent rate of professional integration.

The challenges that the IAE intends to meet in the near future concern the development of a more marked opening towards the international with an improvement of the learning of English and the will to promote the development of digital tools within the pedagogical practices.
