Description

Fanny, a young adult, returns home from college. With her parents away for the evening, it is alone that she will have to face inexplicable events in the silence of the night.

Rem Nox (" the thing of the night " transl. Latin) is a short film that borrows from fantasy and horror.

The students chose from the first minutes, to establish a real climate of fear by leaving doubt about the nature of the events that occur in the house. Are these slamming doors, these creaks, these footsteps a succession of rational events or paranormal manifestations?

The cinematography, the dark atmosphere, the austere setting of the room and the use of various sound and visual effects add to the overall tension of the film.

Freely inspired by the short films Tuck me In, Who's There? and Lights out, the fact remains that the young filmmaking team has, above all, relied on the telling of personal experiences...

Wishing to take their creative process to the limit, the students have, for the occasion, created their production studio, Koala Studio as well as a poster.
