Work-study breakfast at IAE Valenciennes

Tuesday, October 03, the apprenticeship masters of IAE Valenciennes students had the pleasure of getting together for a convivial breakfast.

A moment of exchange and sharing

This event, held on the IMTD premises, provided an opportunity to strengthen links with the IAE Valenciennes and the Institut Sociétés et Humanités partner companies, and to share experiences on supporting work-study students.

This was an opportunity for Mohamed Ramdani, Director of IAE Valenciennes and Sylvie Scoyez, teacher and Alternance Development Officer for ISH, to present the training courses, ambitions and strategy within the apprenticeship framework.

Véronique Sanguinetti, teacher and Head of International Relations for the Institut Sociétés et Humanités and IAE Valenciennes, also spoke on International projects.

A big thank you goes out to all the professionals present for their daily commitment and invaluable role in the development of young talent. Thanks to their expertise and benevolence, the alternants are progressing and preparing themselves in the best possible way for their professional future.

Work-study programs at the heart of discussions

Work-study programs are an excellent way for young people to gain access to employment, facilitating their professional integration while combining theory and practice. It allows them to rapidly acquire skills and work on real-life cases with teachers.

There are two types of contract:

  • Apprenticeship contract: Available to young people aged 16 to 29, with exceptions for the disabled, entrepreneurs and top-level athletes.
  • Professionalization contract: Aimed at young people aged 16 to 25, jobseekers aged 26 and over, and various categories of social beneficiaries.
