Visit to the National Gendarmerie Officers' School

On March 18, the Law students had the honor of visiting the Gendarmerie Nationale Officers' School.

This Monday, March 18, students from the Institut Sociétés et Humanités were able to visit the École des officiers de la gendarmerie nationale (EOGN) accompanied by Nicolas Leblond, Emmanuel Cherrier and Jean-Christophe Cmiel.

The UPHF and ISH warmly thank Major General Laurent Bitouzet, Commandant of the EOGN, for making this visit possible. The students were given a presentation on how to get into the school, as well as the schooling procedures.
They also heard from Lieutenant-Colonel Jean-Baptiste Jouany, former commanding officer of the Douai departmental company and now a teaching officer at EOGN, and Captain Mainguy, who organized the day's events.
.
The day ended with a guided tour of the beautiful Gendarmerie Museum, giving students an insight into the history of this centuries-old institution and its various specialties.
