Students at the heart of history
Students from the History master's program discover the Departmental Archives of Lille.
A day rich in discoveries and emotions
For their integration day, the new students of the master History course History and Cultural Valorization at the International (HVCI) and images, sounds, history(s) (ISOH) course spent the day at the Departmental Archives of Lille.
The day revolved around a presentation of how archives work in France, a tour of the archive stores that preserve documents from the IXth century to the present day.
Hervé Passot, archivist, presented various archival items: flyers for the 1980 Moscow Olympics or a political prisoner's outfit from a concentration camp.
The day continued with a convivial time offered by the ISH before mentioning the European Heritage Days organized by the Departmental Archives.
