[field trip] The H of the Headquarters welcomes our students
On Friday, October 7, 2022, Arts students took over the H of HQ and visited artists' exhibits and studios as part of the Artists' Studio Open House (ASOP).

A group of first-year students from the Arts degree were able to discover L'H du Siège, a contemporary art center in Valenciennes.
On this occasion, they visited the exhibition If you're wise, you'll get a picture, bringing together the three painters Rémy Hysbergue, Jérémie Setton and Alain Sicard (Carte blanche of the curator Romain Mathieu).
Each in their own way, these three artists disrupt our perceptions by proposing paintings that play in an illusionist way on the confusion between real and virtual space, between matter and image.
Students also discovered the sculptural work of Marine Coutelas, who makes amazing prints from the plant world. Finally, as part of the POAA (Portes Ouvertes des Ateliers d'Artistes), the art center's studios were open to the public.
The students were thus able to meet the Korean painter Gye Hoon Park, in residence for several months in Valenciennes and visit the studio of the visual artist Frederic Messager.
