Audit Days at IAE Valenciennes

What better way to end your week than in the company of a Big Four company when you've trained in accounting, control and auditing? I found these two days with KPMG particularly enriching and instructive. The speakers were accessible, friendly and very educational. The discussions with them gave me a better understanding of the auditing profession, the issues involved and the realities in the field, while at the same time answering some of my personal questions. I really enjoyed the experience and it aroused my curiosity. It gave me a more concrete vision of my professional project. I'd like to thank KPMG for their contribution and IAE Valenciennes for this wonderful opportunity!

This collaboration with KPMG Valenciennes is fully in line with our desire to anchor our training in the reality of the auditing and consulting professions.
The approach proposed by the KPMG teams, based on case studies and real-life situations, proved to be both innovative and particularly effective in helping our students understand the challenges of the auditing profession. They were able to mobilize their knowledge, develop their analytical skills and confront issues close to those encountered in the corporate world.
We needed an intervention that really involved the students, pushing them to reflect, exchange ideas and position themselves in the face of complex professional situations. This objective was largely achieved thanks to the involvement of Axel Lefebvre and Maximilien Leclercq, facilitators and designers of the materials.
Beyond the educational aspect, these days offered our students a concrete vision of their future work environment.

With the Journées de l'Audit on November 6 and 7, 2025, the IAE Valenciennes - École Universitaire de Management reaffirms its solid partnership with KPMG Valenciennes, in the service of training rooted in the reality of the business.

Working with IAE Valenciennes on this auditing project was a very rewarding experience. The students in the L3 CCA course, from which I myself come, showed a real ability to adapt and a marked interest in the challenges of the profession. This partnership is a perfect illustration of the synergy between academic training and professional practice.

This intervention confronted the students with concrete audit issues and stimulated their critical thinking. Their commitment and pertinent questions enriched the debate and gave the case study its full value. Many thanks to the students for their active participation, and to the teaching staff for the hospitality and coordination that made this experience possible.
