Supporting collective thinking and interdisciplinary harmony (SOPHIA)

Incentive Research Action "Faire laboratoire" 2024-2025

Project presentation

The project aims to stimulate intellectual interaction between researchers in LARSH's three departments. It is based on the observation that the new laboratory is very diverse, both geographically and in terms of disciplines, which means that the teams are far apart. But to work together, we need to meet, get to know and appreciate each other. Moreover, collective interdisciplinary thinking is a long-standing challenge, which has now been partially mastered within each of the three departments, but which presents new challenges when the latter are brought together. There is a theoretical and practical challenge in knowing how to reformulate, popularize, connect and bring into dialogue our heterogeneous knowledge.
We therefore propose to help develop a new team spirit by organizing three events a year (so six over two years), each taking a different form combining reflection and a fun, convivial encounter. These events will bring together doctoral students and teacher-researchers.
