4th session of the doctoral seminar presented by Romuald FONKOUA, Professor of Francophone Literatures on the Faculty of Sorbonne University

Presentation : During the second half of the 20th century, encounters between several avant-garde painters - Picasso, Lam, and Chagall, among others - and Negro poets were so intense that the works of the latter would be illustrated by the paintings of the former, while the paintings of the latter would be commented on by the poetic or critical writings of the latter.
