Madame Justine FAURE, Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Lille :
The construction at a distance of an American knowledge of the Soviet bloc

Madame Justine Faure, a specialist in international relations and the Soviet bloc, has recently published "Decentering Cold War" (with Mario Del Pero), Monde(s), 2020 (n°18) and International Relations. Histoire, questions régionales, grands enjeux (with Yannick Prost), Paris, Ellipses, 2020. In 2024, his latest book : Beyond the Iron Curtain. American Scholars and the Soviet Bloc during the Cold War, Paris, CNRS Éditions.
