Montaigne workshop: "Sebond's Apologie de Raimond - readings, methods, interpretations".

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, the Atelier Montaigne (workshop for critical reading of the Essays) is organizing, in collaboration with the Société des Amies et Amis de Montaigne and the Centre Montaigne, a symposium entirely devoted to "L'Apologie de Raimond Sebond" (Essais, II, 12). This international colloquium will take stock of ten years of reflection and offer an in-depth study of this essential chapter of the Essays. It will include plenary lectures and various studies and commentaries on "L'Apologie".
