Upcycling was the order of the day in Iwuy

The 3rd year students at BUT TC in Cambrai have been working since April on the Upcycling and Handmade Fair, an event held this Saturday, November 22 in Iwuy.

In their final year at BUT and enrolled in the SME (Brand Strategy and Events) course, they were able to put into practice the skills acquired during their training. For this event, five students from the Cambrai campus brought together some fifteen exhibitors, offering scented candles, floral decorations or even handmade fabric or beaded accessories. Advice on daily consumption and waste was also offered throughout the day, to raise awareness of overconsumption.

An experience that will have enabled the students to develop their skills in contact with professionals, and to respond to the various issues involved in event organization, such as communication, finding partners and managing attendance.
