Third edition of the EUNICE Start Cup entrepreneurial competition
On April 24 and 25, 2024 took place the third edition of the EUNICE Start Cup event, an entrepreneurial competition between students from the ten universities of the EUNICE alliance.
The annual EUNICE Start Cup competition invites students to design and develop an entrepreneurial project, which they will then present in front of an international jury of experts.
The UPHF team
This year, UPHF was represented by a team of 2 GEA IUT students, Nathan Frémeaux and Clément Rousteau.
Their start-up idea? An app called MyCloset, which uses artificial intelligence to suggest clothing outfits suited to each occasion, taking into account the weather, personal style and clothes already in the registered wardrobe. The aim is to limit superfluous purchases while helping users to optimize their dressing room and make relevant clothing choices on a daily basis.
Competition results
This year, a PhD student from the University of Poznan, Poland, was proclaimed winner of the competition for her project entitled WoundWise, a next-generation hydrogel dressing that accelerates the healing of infected and chronic wounds.
The PhD student received a prize of one thousand euros for the best start-up idea of the competition.
