The sub-prefect of the Valenciennes district visits IUT

The IUT was honored to welcome Mr. Stephane Costaglioli, recently posted to Valenciennes

As part of his visit to the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France on the Mont Houy campus, he was able to observe the work carried out in 3 of the IUT's departments.

Among the highlights of the visit, the GEii department (Génie Électrique et Informatique Industrielle) presented its Retrofit vehicles, as part of the regional Electro'Mob project. This project, financed by France 2030, aims to structure a truly sustainable electromobility sector in the Hauts-de-France region. The GEii, GIM (Génie Industriel et Maintenance) and Mesures Physiques departments are working hand in hand on this ambitious project.

Accompanied by University President Abdelhakim Artiba and IUT Director Isabelle Massa-Turpin, Monsieur le sous-préfet continued his visit by the buildings recently renovated as part of the France Relance plan, and the workshops of the Génie Mécanique et Productique department.
