Mobility to Poznań for GIM apprentices
A look back at a week at Poznań University of Technology
16 apprentices in their 2nd year of BUT Génie Industriel et Maintenance visited the Poznań University of Technology (PUT) where they were warmly welcomed by Polish professors.
Accompanied by 2 IUT teacher-researchers, Sofiane Ghenna and Christophe Maréchal, the students were able to deepen their knowledge through educational activities and scientific exchanges. They attended three specialized courses:
- Rapid prototyping
- 3D scanning
- Computational fluid dynamics
They also visited the streetcar manufacturing company Modertrans Poznan SP. Z o.o as well as three university laboratories:
- Metrology
- Tribology
- Biomechanics
In a convivial setting, IUT and PUT students took part in a linguistic and cultural integration activity. Two Polish teachers, Michal and Jakub, led the students on a guided tour of the Armaments Museum, blending history with the apprentices' university careers.
The students were also able to take part in a cultural and linguistic integration activity.
A big thank you to the students for their exemplary attitude and active contribution during the trip, and a special mention to Linda Goubet, at IUT's alternance department, for organizing the trip!
In June, three Polish teachers will travel to Valenciennes to visit the IUT, IEMN and LAMIH.
