Industry Tuesday at IMTD
A day dedicated to training and employment in industry
On October 7, the IUT presented three industrial training courses at the Institut des Mobilités et des Transports Durables:
- GIM (Industrial Engineering and Maintenance)
- GMP (Mechanical and Production Engineering)
- GEII (Génie Electrique et Informatique Industrielle)
Alongside numerous companies in the sector and in front of nearly 400 middle and high school students, our students and IUT staff led technical demonstrations, highlighting the professions for which our courses prepare.
On the program:
- electric vehicles presented by the GEII department as part of the Electro'Mob regional project, funded by France 2030,
- a demonstration of the FANUC robot by the GIM department,
- a presentation of the Shell Eco-Marathon vehicle, by the GMP department.
Manuel Witkowski, in charge of school-IUT relations, also answered students' questions about our apprenticeship courses.
This event, organized by Les entreprises s'engagent, certainly created vocations among our visitors, who we'll be delighted to see again in a few years' time on the benches of the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France.
