B.U.T. GMP: 3-month work placement in Montreal
Interning for 3 months in Canada, Sarah is completely won over by this experience abroad
In the company NETUR, she has found her feet and her skills are highly appreciated! She has already been offered to host her next year for her 3rd year internship in B.U.T Mechanical and Production Engineering.
"I conduct small projects, in computer-aided design (CAD), I modify machine programs, I check archive files of operations and engine parts,...But, I also work on large projects, every Monday and Tuesday, I'm at the inspection, I do quality control of parts that have just come out of the machining. On Wednesdays, I check the locations of the measuring instruments and when necessary I do the calibration. On Thursdays and Fridays, I'm mostly in the plant doing 5S in a machining cell, occasionally I take over to help remove paint from printed parts."
SarahTous les lundis et mardis, je suis à l'inspection, je fais du contrôle qualité de pièces qui viennent de sortir de l'usinage. Le mercredi, je vérifie les emplacements des instruments de mesure et quand c'est nécessaire je fais la calibration. Les jeudis et vendredis, je suis principalement dans l'usine pour faire les 5S dans une cellule d'usinage, de temps en temps je prend le relai pour aider à enlever la peinture sur des pièces imprimées.
