End-of-year challenge in B.U.T. GMP

The traditional competition that concludes the academic year brought together 23 teams

The general problem to which the 2nd year students of B.U.T. GMP had to answer was the following: using a mechanism that moves back and forth on a rail, teams aimed to deposit marbles in the opposing camp.

This exercise enabled them to mobilize the 4 skills of their course: specify, develop, realize and exploit. It marks the culmination of a SAE (Situation d'Apprentissage et d'Évaluation).

• In the first stage, the teams imagined, planned, dimensioned, designed, prototyped and manufactured mechanisms.

• In the second stage, in teams, the 82 students competed to deposit as many marbles as possible in the alveoli of the opposing camp, all within an allotted time. In all, 52 matches pitted the GMP teams against each other!

This convivial moment within the workshop led to a very good atmosphere for this end of year. The day ended with a presentation of "Made in GMP" trophies, designed in the workshop.
