EFEU Summer School 2025: developing skills for a sustainable future

A look back at a week of collaboration for sustainable transformation

Future skills for a sustainable industry

The EFEU Project Summer University 2025, held at DHBW Stuttgart, brought together students, teachers and sustainability professionals from all over Europe for a week-long stay aimed at developing future skills for a sustainable industry.

Accompanied by IUT teacher-researcher Hachimi Abba, 3 students from BUT GIM, Yanis, Candyce, Zacharie, and 2 students from BUT GEii, Raphaël and Tom, benefited from the packed program on offer from May 5 to 9.

The students worked in diverse, interdisciplinary teams to tackle the sustainability challenges facing university campuses and industries.

The week's program included a master class on life cycle assessment, a tour of the DHBW engineering school's laboratories, and EFEU's Serious Game inspired by My Earth in 180 Minutes. EFEU's Summer University 2025 enabled Europe's future change agents to acquire the tools, mindset and collaborative spirit needed to drive sustainable transformation.
