Calculation in 2-d of space loads created by HVDC Transport lines

In this talk, I will present the space load problems associated with electric current transport in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) lines. I'll explain the model I've chosen, which couples electric potential and space charge density. In dimension 2, in the radial case, I will give the explicit expression of the solutions.
In a more general framework, I have obtained a result for the existence of solutions, but these are no longer explicit. Therefore, I will propose a numerical algorithm and associated simulations. To validate this numerical method, I will compare, in the radial case, the exact solution and the approximate solution. I will also present numerical results for a half-disc with a single radial cable.
