Lyapunov stability characterisation for uncertain infinite-dimensional systems

By this talk I will present some recent contributions in the domain of stability analysis for a class of infinite-dimensional nonlinear switched systems. The particular class of retarded functional differential equations will be also considered. Different stability notions like local, semi-global, asymptotic, and global exponential stability will be considered. These stability notions will be characterized through the existence of coercive and non-coercive Lyapunov functionals. The importance of the obtained results will be underlined through some applications concerning robustness of perturbed systems, stability of interconnected systems, input-to-state stability, and stability of sampled-data control systems.
